  1. Character

    1. The caharacters are drawn from the apartments that Terry describes.
    2. The authors attitude toward the characters arequiet happy and angrey. Quiet- Terry's mom doesn't want Terry about his dad. Happy- Terry is a happy person. Angrey- Terry is rude to his mom.
    3. All cahracters are 3D except for, Charlene, Mrs. LAmb, Mrs. Mackinon, hitch hikers and Terry's dad's bandmates.
    4. Character development did occur.
    5. Character deliniation was direct.

    Theme

    1. Major Themes- Terry back home doing chores for his mom, Nick going to Terry's house more often and Terry changing his mind about him, and Terry doing the concert.
    2. It is revealed when Terry comes home and his mom tells him to do chores. Terry liking Nick more is revealed when Nick and Terry go canoeing. Terry doing the concert is revealed when Terry statrs have auditons and practising.
    3. The theme is new and original because it was just revealed in this reading section.
    4. The theme is all pupose. Terry's mom purposly made Terry do all the chores in the house so his mind wouldn't be focused on his dad.

    Plot

    1. The elements are handled by suspence.
    2. The relationship of plot to character delineation is that Terry matures over the time of this book in the way that Terry was going to let Nick and his mom marry.
    3. There are no accedents in this book, only planned ideas.
    4. The suspence is if Joanne likes Terry and if Bruce Springsteen will write back.
    5. The only complication is about the concert and who will be preforming.
    6. The only sub-plots are Sean with Tonya, Nick with Terry's mom, and Terry's dad with the band.
    7. The plot is primary.

    Style

    1. The writing style is very clear.
    2. There is humour, love, and happines.
    3. There is rhythem to the writing.
    4. There is symbolism in the writing.
    5. The little bit of dialogue is very affective.

    Setting

1.The setting is the auditorium and Terry's apartment.
    2. A sense of atmosphere is evoked when Nick was around, Terry started to be more comfertable with him.
    3. Without the setting, the story would not go on, but if the concert wasn't in the gym, then it wouldn't make a difference.
    4. Yes. It influences the plot and characters.
